The restaurant of the hotel proposes a creative cuisine d’auteur based on traditional Catalan cuisine. Th menu varies according to the season to offer the best local produce at each season. The result is an exquisite carta, web complemented with an excellent wine menu.

The Castle

Initially constructed in 886, the fortress is in both the Romanesque and Gothic styles and has an extension of 62.000 square meters. The fort’s main jewel is the Torre de la Minyona, a tower which measures 15 meters in height and 10 meters in diameter. During the XVth century, it was the residence of the the dukes of Cardona that came from the most important family of the Crown of Aragon, which was second only to the royal house.

Meeting rooms

Hotel Bremon has two function rooms to celebrate business or private events or meetings, including all hotel services.

The industrial activity

Although industrial activity in Cardona started slow at the end of the XVIIIth century, it did not grow until the XIXth century. A difficult political period that, even so, did not harm the transformation of textile industries and small spinning factories. In the late 1800s the phylloxera epidemic and the textile crisis unleashed the economic downfall.
